We did a little drag racing last evening......had some fun. I haven't gone to the track in 20 years so I was rusty off the line. Here are a few pictures to share. Click on the READ MORE link to see the video.

Wed July 7th

Working on simple non modified dial-ins. We gained .1 seconds. doing 12.4's now. 0 to 60 in 4.3.

Playing with a cheapo mod by putting reistance to the intake temp sensor. That tricks the engine into thinking the outside air is colder and gives more fuel. I also need to get more top end power. I think I shall call it "virtual chilling".

We are putting on a venturied 87 mm tb, and we have sealed off the ill designed shaker CAI from hot engine compartment air with a simple plastic formed plate push pinned under the hood.

We are now at 12.4 and 4.2 0 to 60. We are putting on MT et s/s radials today and will try to improve the 60' time of about 1.9. The stock tires seem to be a brick wall. BTW...we are getting 502 hp up from 487 ...from the air temp sensor hack. We also insulated the intake tube behind the radiater, sealed off the top of the shakers poor design air box to keep heat soak down.

We got 12.33 tonight 7/25/19, with 1.84 at 60 ft. We also got 3.9 @0 to 60 with the new drag tires. Only did three runs.

Aug 17, 2019 we ran Capital Raceway near DC.

We put a new set of Micky Thompsons on ...17 inch vs 20 inch and saw both ET, Speed, and 60 ' times increase dramatically. We did 115.6 at 12.09and improved 60' LAUNCH TIME FROM ~1.84 TO 1.73.
